Similar to Geocaching, which is basically a treasure hunting game using GPS devices. The twitter version would use tweets, hashtags, and links to external sites to take users on an online treasure hunt.

There is not much more that can be gained by more online tools and networking. Face-to-face interactions will be the only meaningful ones for the majority of the population. Any app will just distract people from their relationships.

In the race to build social networks, often folks have long lists but the content is diarrhea at best. An application that allows you to make subjective decisions regarding people, posts or topics then filtering and serving them up subjectively would be ideal for those that want to get the Best of the best.

A widget you can place on other social networks in certain groups there and then have the widget show Tweeters that share that group interest. So lets say a Facebook group about Beer and then a widget of Tweeters that have the word Beer in their description or tweet about beer.
