I would ask them what our environmental priorities should be. What would make the biggest difference? There's no shortage of ideas on environmental change -- but it would be helpful for to know where to focus our attention.

We need to personally take responsibility for our earth. What are we a bunch of dumb fools who can't take the time to think about we are doing. Recycle, dispose of things responsibly, think about pesticides in your yard, watch what businesses are doing in their disposing of dangerous wastes, etc. All the good ideas on the planet can't work unless we listen and do what we need to do. It has to be done on a personal level. Let us promote Earth being cared for.
