I just saw the new Star Trek movie this weekend, and enjoyed it (two thumbs up). But for me, it kind of lacked that special "Trek Moment" that makes some of the movies in the series truly memorable... I know what mine is, but what is your favorite "Star Trek Moment" and why?

"Botany Bay...? Botany Bay!", "Logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few...", "Kahn!!!!" to name a few. Such a good movie...

This is the episode where the aliens are pretending to be the heroes of Kirk and Spock... Kirk's hero is Abraham Lincoln as I recall, and Spock's hero is some Vulcan dude who says "Help me, Spock!" at some point during the episode. I've never forgotten that line!

This is the one where Kirk has been abducted by a species (that has no disease and therefore has a terribly over populated planet) onto a copy of the Enterprise that is empty except for a beautiful woman (of course), the daughter of the planet's leader. Her people are normally packed in like cattle, and so when she is alone at first on the "Enterprise", she wanders around in amazement at all the open space... I live in a very small house, so whenever I am in a large space, I feel the exact same way. :)

I grew up on television and Kirk always had a way witht he women. Color didn't matter to him. So it was very satisfying to see that he still is the ladies man even witht he green girls. I am pretty sure he had a fling with a green girl in original show.
