Texas Governor Rick Perry made the news this week when he said Texas might secede from the Union (!). A number of scholar chimed in an pointed out that really isn't legally possible, but what is possible (and spelled out in the agreement that brought Texas into the Union) is for Texas to be split into five (5) smaller states (!). So what names would you suggest for these five new states?

Ofcourse, there are the letters T,E,X,A, and S in them.
T for the centre of Texas, E for the english people who live in Texas, X for the Mexican influences which are in Texas, since Texas has been a part of Mexico, A for the American part, because it is in America, and at least the S for the Spanish part, because the Spanish explorers discovered Texas first.
